Hey, so one of the things I do when I’m not writing novels and blogging about Gaelic or sword fighting is developing fun new card games for people to play. If you’ve ever wanted to go full Machiavelli on your mates but didn’t feel there was anything quite up to the task, REIGN is for you.

A game of politics as much as military might, REIGN is all about struggling with your peers for power and, ultimately, the throne. As you build armies, make and break alliances, and sabotage your friends and foes alike, you need to be careful to balance taking power for yourself and getting everyone else off-side. No one is so powerful they can’t be overthrown and no one is so weak or crushed they can’t rise from the ashes but, of course, there are always exceptions…

REIGN is simple to learn but impossible to master as each game is affected as much by the decisions of those you play with as the attributes of the cards themselves. Truly, no two games are ever the same. If you want to see if you’ve got what it takes to win the Onyx Crown, feel free to order a copy of REIGN from our website or search for it at Australian retailers.

And if you don’t know who this Machiavelli guy is I mentioned at the start, feel free to check out my blog post about him and what he has to do with REIGN.
